Dominika Dörre-Kolasa

Legal advisor, PhD, partner. In her practice as a legal advisor she has more than ten years of experience in providing business consulting services for international corporations and small and medium enterprises. Renowned specialist in labour law and the protection of personal rights in employment with a special focus on mobbing, discrimination and personal data protection.
For many years she was a partner in a reputable law firm offering legal services in the area of labour law.  She has many years of experience in creating projects of intra-company sources of law and negotiating their implementation with trade unions, running compliance audits in line with the legal requirements and business ethics and implementing the ensuing recommendations.
For more than a decade she has been an Adjunct Professor in the Chair of Labour Law and Social Policy at the Jagiellonian University and a well-regarded lecturer among students at the Jagiellonian University’s Post-Graduate Courses of Study in Labour Law where she lectures on personal data protection in employment, discrimination and selected aspects of collective labour law.
She is the author of several tens of publications regarding labour law. During the last two years she co-authored Commentary to the Labour Code edited by Prof. dr hab. A. Sobczyk, and published by C.H. Beck (2017), Commentary to Labour Law Implementing Acts edited by Prof. dr hab. Krzysztof W. Baran, and published by Wolters Kluwer (2016) and a monograph on Fixed-term Employment Contracts, Current Employment-Related Problems published by Wolters Kluwer (2017). She is the co-author of Volume I of the Labour Law System (2017) and a co-author of the Outline of the Polish Labour Law System (editor), Krzysztof W. Baran Warsaw 2016.
She is the editor and a co-author of the monograph entitled Employee Personal Data Protection in light of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, published by C.H. Beck (2017).
She is a member of the Advisory Council of the Panoptykon Foundation that strives to support the protection of human rights in the context of the threats inherent in the rapid development of a surveillance society. She acts as a consultant to legal magazines.
She has extensive experience in training. From the outset of her professional practice, she has been passionate about her commitment to deliver training sessions and workshops for managers and training sessions and workshops for members of anti-mobbing commissions.
